The Shotlist

Selecting a shot from the Shotlist in the sidebar will provide a table of the files assigned to that shot. The table shows the filename, metadata, and has a column for each output format.

In the inspector on the right is an overview of the selected shot. It shows the count and file size of the RAW files, plus the counts for each output format. To help ensure selects have been made the number of each color tag and star rating are shown.

Shot Settings

Name

The name of the shot is its primary identity and is used to match files on disk. The name can be edited by double-clicking the shot name in the sidebar.

Nickname

Additionally each shot can be given a nickname from the text field at the top. The nickname can be anything, but is most useful for making long shot names easier to read. If for instance the fill shot name includes the brand, category, season, colorway, shot number, etc. Much of this information isn't useful and is possibly repetitive.

Giving the shot a nickname for just the shot number will make it easier to distinguish shots, and is used in most places the shot name would have been shown.

Set List

The Set List for a shot is meant to help group shots. It can be used to organize shots by day, product, person, or anything else. At the moment the Set List is only used as a token value, but future updates will allow the Shotlist to be grouped by the Set List.
